T.M. Frazier’s ‘The King Series’ comes to an end in Preppy & Dre’s final book “Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater!” I’m super sad to see The King Series come to an end but T.M. Frazier couldn’t have ended The King Series any better than she did with ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater!‘ ‘Preppy Part 1, 2, and 3’ may not have been my favourite in the series (King & Tyrant still owns my heart) but Samuel “Preppy” Clearwater certainly found a home in my heart! And T.M. Frazier continues to win it over!

What Is “Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater” Storyline
Well My Lovelies, I’m not going to give you any of ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater’ storyline because if you are at this point, you already know the Dre and Preppy inside and out and I will only give you spoilers!
I will give you just a few little nuggets of gold cause I’m awesome this way 😉
Preppy does indeed find his Dre-that is damn near to his own demise!
“Preppy’s love wasn’t ‘romantic. It was beautifully painful. It was the storming-the-castle, take-no-prisoners kind of love and I never wanted to escape.” ~ Dre
A blast from the past blows in and is hell bent on using Dre as a toy in their quest to get Prep!
“This is fun part of the evening where we get to meet and discuss who’s trying to fuck with us and all the ways they need to die.” ~ Prep
Do the dead ever really stay that way?
What I Loved About ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater’
I loved how I never knew what was going to happen! I’d think I had it nailed and no sooner I thought it, T.M. Frazier would knock me on my perfect rear end, leaving me wondering what in ever-loving world was going on!
T.M. Frazier gave me those dark angsty feelers that I so desperately love but there is a touch of lightness in ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater’ that just compliments that dark. Hard thing to achieve and find that perfect balance between the two but T.M. Frazier accomplished this seamlessly!
I hated that The King Series ended but I loved the way ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater’ ended and wrapped everyone else up in this shiny dark gem!
This is going to sound awful but it happens in way too many series; characters get annoying. Preppy and Dre didn’t get annoying or become stagnant…or flat. They both still had hidden complexities that we didn’t get to see in Preppy Part 1 & Part 2. I can really only compare them to brilliant diamonds. So many facets but any way you look at ’em they’re beautiful, no matter the angle or imperfection.
Everyone knows how much I like to test the moral compass and T.M. Frazier continues to do that in ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater’! When something so very wrong feels so very right!
T.M. Frazier delivers a wickedly gritty, stellar on all sorts of levels ending toThe King Series with ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater’! T.M. Frazier gives a final look at King & Rae (King & Tyrant), Bear & Thia (Lawless & Soulless) in ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater’ and it’s a true treat-dark, angsty and raw-but a treat none the less! ‘Preppy, Part 3: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater’ is the final polish of the black diamond that is The King Series and T.M. Frazier couldn’t have shined it up any better!
